Introduction to the Safeture Mobile Application Home Page
The home screen of the Safeture Mobile App provides an overview of the latest alerts relevant to your location and your upcoming travel bookings.
At the top of the screen, you can access My Location to manage your location privacy settings or use the Check-in button to manually report your current location.
Privacy settings
We prioritize end-user privacy, and as such, users can customize their privacy settings directly within the Safeture Mobile Application.
To manage your privacy settings, tap My Location on the app's home screen and select the Location Services tab.
By default, your exact location is shared. However, you can choose to limit the precision of your shared location by enabling location masking:

City: Your location is generalized to a 20 × 20 km area, providing greater privacy while allowing you to receive relevant alerts.

Region/State: Your location is generalized to your current region or state. This approximate location is then used to determine which alerts you receive.
Check-in button
The Check-in button at the top of the app’s home screen lets you manually report your current location to the Safeture Platform. Although the app automatically sends location reports at regular intervals, you can use the Check-in button to report your location at any time.
When you check in, your exact location is recorded in the Safeture Platform, regardless of your location privacy settings.
If Scheduled Check-Ins are enabled for your organization, administrators can schedule check-ins at specific dates and times. You will be asked to check in within a specified time window to confirm your status. If you do not complete a scheduled check-in within that time, the administrator is automatically notified.
Alert feed
The home screen of the Safeture Mobile App displays a feed of the latest alerts relevant to your location, based on your location masking. The more precisely you share your location, the more relevant the alerts you receive.
You can also add countries of interest in the app settings to receive alerts for those countries.
For medium- and high-risk alerts, you can confirm your safety by tapping I'm OK within the alert. This updates your status in the Safeture Platform, helping administrators identify users who have not confirmed their safety or have activated Emergency mode.
Travel bookings
On the Home Page, you'll find a list of all your upcoming travel bookings. Click on any booking to access detailed travel information for that trip. You will receive push notifications about flight disruptions, gate changes, and pre-travel advisories.
Please note: To receive flight details like gate information, delays, and cancellations, the app must be installed at least 48 hours prior to departure.
