How to add travel bookings manually in the Safeture app

If your organization has enabled this feature, you can manually add your travel bookings directly in the Safeture app. This is an effective way to include trips that may not be captured through existing system integrations.
The user-friendly interface makes it easy to enter details for various types of travel, including flights, train journeys, hotel stays, and car rentals.
This guide will walk you through the process of adding travel bookings manually in the app.
How to add travel bookings manually in the Safeture app
Accessing the Travel Bookings Section
Open the app and tap the three dots in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
From the menu, select Travel Bookings.
Adding a New Trip
Tap the Add Trip button to create a new booking.
A form will appear to enter trip details manually.
From the top menu, select the type of segment you want to add. You can add flights, rail journeys, hotel stays, or car rental bookings. Each segment is added separately.
Flight Details
Input the departure and arrival times (use local time and date).
Enter the departure and arrival airports using the IATA code or airport name.
Add the airline by searching for its name.
Provide your flight number.
Review all the information carefully to ensure accuracy, as this will affect the alerts you receive.
Click "Add Segment" to complete the entry
Rail Journey Details
Input the Departure and Arrival Times. Use local time and date for both.
Enter the Departure and Arrival Stations
Add the Rail Company Name
Add the Train Number
Click "Add Segment" to complete the entry
Hotel Stays
Input check- in and check-out times. Use local time and date for both
Enter hotel name
Add hotel location.
Click "Add Segment" to complete the entry
Car Rental Bookings
Input pick-up and drop-off times. Use local time and date for both
Enter the name of the car rental company
Input the location where the car will be picked up. If the drop-off location is the same, toggle the switch to confirm. Otherwise, input the drop-off location separately.
Click "Add Segment" to complete the entry.
Once you have added a segment you will be presented with the option to either add a new segment to your trip or register your segment as a complete itinerary.
Add additional trip segments: To add additional trip segments, such as train rides, hotel stays, or car rentals, tap Add Segment and fill in the relevant details.
Finalizing a trip: Once all segments are added, click Register to save the trip as complete itinerary.
The added travel segments will appear in the lists of upcoming trips on the app’s home page and in the app’s travel booking sections. All segments of a trip will remain in the lists until 8 hours after the final segment has ended.
