Policy Management

This guide explains how to manage and edit existing Insurance Policies in the Policies Module of the web portal. If you need to upload new policies in bulk, refer to the Policy Bulk Upload guide.
Access the Policies Module
Log in to the web portal.
Select Policies from the left-hand menu.
Click Manage to view your policies.
View Your Policies
You will see a list of all policies you are currently managing. If no policies are visible they may not yet be uploaded to the platform. Upload them individually or via Bulk Import before proceeding.
To quickly locate a policy, use the search bar to search by:
Policy Name
Policy Number
Description
Use available filters (such as region) to narrow the list.
Edit a Policy
Locate the policy you wish to update.
Click the green pencil icon next to the policy name to open the Policy Details page.
Policy Details – Editable Fields
On the Policy Details page, you can review and modify the following:
Policy Information
Policy Number: Unique identifier for the policy. This field cannot be changed.
Policy Name: Display name of the policy.
Description: Free-text field used for segmentation and filtering.
URL: Used as metadata for the Policy Holder. This URL is typically used to display an icon or visual reference in interfaces such as the Partner Dashboard.
Identity Provider ID (IDPID): UUID of the Identity Provider associated with the policy.
Must correspond to a pre-configured Identity Provider.Start Time
Determines when users can begin registering under the policy.
Supported formats (ISO 8601):YYYY-MM-DDYYYY-MM-DDTHH:MM:SS+00:00
End Time
Determines when the policy expires and when users are logged out.
Supported formats (ISO 8601):YYYY-MM-DDYYYY-MM-DDTHH:MM:SS+00:00
Policy Groups
Pre-configured client groups (UUID format).Policy Country
Two-letter country code according to ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 (e.g.,SE,DE,US).Maximum Number of Users
Defines how many users can be registered under the policy.Email Domains (if configured)
Can include:Email domains (without
@)Specific email addresses
Multiple entries must be separated using line breaks.
Resource Metadata
You can also manage policy resources visible to app and web users.
Each resource consists of:
Title – Display name (e.g., Insurance ID Card)
Description – Short explanation of the resource
Type – Category (e.g., ID Card, Assistance Info, Certificate, Claims, URL)
Data – Typically a URL pointing to the resource
If adding multiple resources:
Each resource must align correctly (Title, Description, Type, and Data must correspond).
Ensure all required fields for each resource are completed.
Save Changes
After completing your edits:
Scroll to the bottom of the page.
Click the green Update button to save your changes.
Your updates will take effect immediately according to the configured Start and End times.
Important Notes
The Policy Number cannot be edited after creation.
Changes to validity dates may immediately affect user access.
Ensure UUID values (Groups, Identity Provider ID) are correct and pre-configured.
Updating policy details does not retroactively alter historical records, but may affect active users.
