VIP Assets
Introduction to VIP Assets
The VIP Assets feature in the Safeture web portal allows organizations to prioritize key individuals or groups, such as executives, management teams, and other essential personnel. This functionality makes it easier for administrators to manage, identify, and monitor VIPs, ensuring they receive the attention and support necessary in risk management and communication workflows.
Designating Users and Groups as VIPs
Users or groups can be marked as VIPs in the Users module in the Safeture web portal.
Designating single Users as VIPs
Open the left-hand menu and select "Users".
Click on "Manage Users".
Use the search bar or filter options to find the desired user.
Once located, click the green edit (pen) icon to modify their details.
In the edit screen, scroll to the bottom and check the box to mark them as a VIP.
Finally, ensure you click "Save" to apply the changes.
Designating Groups as VIPs
Open the left-hand menu and select "Users".
Under groups, click "Manageā.
Locate the right group and click the green edit (pen) icon
Under Edit group, check the VIP box
Finally, ensure you click "Save" to apply the changes.
When a user is marked as a VIP, this status is applied across the platform. Similarly, when a group is labeled as VIP, all its members are automatically designated as VIPs. If a user leaves a VIP group, their VIP status is revoked unless they were already marked as VIP individually before joining the group.
Please note: A user who belongs to a VIP group cannot have their VIP status revoked in the users module. Instead, their VIP status can only be removed by taking them out of the group designated as VIP.
Identifying and Filtering VIPs
Once users or groups are designated as VIPs, their status becomes highly visible within the platform:
VIP Status Display: VIP users and groups are clearly labeled in relevant sections of the portal.
Security Overview Map: The map includes a VIP filter, enabling administrators to focus solely on VIP users.
Communication Module: Recipient lists can be refined to include VIPs specifically, facilitating targeted communications.
VIP Travel Updates
Administrators can stay informed about the movements of VIPs by enabling daily email updates for VIP travel bookings. This feature provides insights into their travel schedules, enhancing monitoring and preparedness for any potential risks associated with their journeys.
